I cannot fathom the kind of blind, irrational hatred that drives a person to actively oppose marriage equality. Discrimination through inaction or apathy I can kind of understand - we are all sometimes guilty of ignoring the suffering of others; But actively spending time, money and energy for the sole reason of denying someone else the right to pursue happiness is the closest thing I know to a definition of evil.
